In Step 4 of the sign-up process, you will be asked to pick a Team Portal. The Team Portal is the subdomain for the url used to access the team's Morro Cloud Manager (the web-based user interface). Depending on your organization, the team portal can represent the entire organization or some other organizational unit (such as departments or office location for businesses). Administrators manage the Morro solution using the portal. Users can access files using the portal.
Although your Team Portal can be anything, if you are a business, we recommmend you use a team portal that represents your company such as your company name. For example, if your company name is ABC Construction, your Team portal would be https://ABCConstruction.morrodata.com. This allows all your users and administrators to have one place to access your Morro solution in the cloud.
Here are some tips for how to pick your TeamURL:
- Has to be at least 8 characters
- All offices will access the same TeamURL, it should symbolize your entire organization not just one location
- Do not make it too long since your users might need to type it in manually
- Choose wisely as it cannot be changed
