Morro Data provides file management services using cloud data object storage to store data in the cloud and a local file server interface for accessing those files. File management services providers both the local file server interface and the hosted cloud file server interface. The level of file management services provided depends on a combination of the type of cloud storage group you choose and the cloud data object storage your choose.
How Does Morro Data Integrate with Wasabi Technologies
To use Wasabi Technologies as your data object store. Choose Morro Cloud as your cloud storage group and choose Wasabi as the region.
Choosing Your Cloud Storage Group
Administrators choose the cloud storage group when creating an account with the CloudNAS Essential, CloudNAS Business or CloudNAS Enterprise plan or when upgrading to CloudNAS Business or CloudNAS Enterprise from CloudNAS Basic.
Create an Account
During the Account setup process, the wizard will ask you to choose a service plan. To use Wasabi Technologies, choose CloudNAS Essential, CloudNAS Business or CloudNAS Enterprise.
CloudNAS Essential only works with Wasabi Technologies. Once you choose CloudNAS Essential and click NEXT.
CloudNAS Business can use either Wasabi or an S3 Region as the cloud data object store. When choosing CloudNAS Business, "Wasabi in US" is selected by default as the region. Click NEXT.
CloudNAS Enterprise can use either Wasabi or an S3 Region as the cloud data object store. When choosing CloudNAS Enterprise, "Wasabi in US" is selected by default as the region. Click NEXT.

Upgrade an Account
Administrators can upgrade the service plan from CloudNAS Basic to CloudNAS Business or CloudNAS Enterprise. During the upgrade process, the system will prompt the administrator to choose a region for the Morro Cloud cloud storage group.
"Wasabi in US" is selected by default as the region.
Click UPGRADE to complete the process.
