Morro Cloud Manager (MCM) is a cloud-based management portal used by:

  • Business Administrator to set up account.
  • Global Administrator(s) to manage clusters, devices, pools, shares, users, gateway, and apps.
  • Standard Users to access files using Web browser


Each account has a unique Morro Cloud Manager URL with the format https://{Team_URL}.morrodata.com. {Team_URL} is the Team Portal subdomain chosen during account registration with your first Morro CacheDrive.


The Morro Cloud Manager Main Menu consists of:


DASHBOARDSummary of storage usage.
FILE SYSTEMManage and analyze user's global file system including cloud storage, network shares, and usage.
DEVICESDeploy and analyze user's gateway and xCache devices.
TEAMManage users and permissions.
APPSSet up sharing and messaging apps.
FILESBrowse, upload, and download files.
LOGS
Review system logs.

Morro Connect App for simple network share access


These are the basic steps for using Morro cloud storage by configuring Morro Cloud Manager:

  • (1) Add gateway and cluster in DEVICES. Repeat for each office cluster and gateway.
  • (2) Add pools and shares in FILE SYSTEM.
  • (3) Add users in TEAM.
  • (4) Access the network shares on the Morro Gateway.


(1) (2) (3) are automatically configured during account registration with the first Morro Gateway.
