Morro Cloud Storage is designed to scale easily in 3 ways:

  1. Storage
  2. Locations
  3. Users

Storage

As you add more data to your CacheDrive your cloud storage will automatically increase. We recommend maintaining a 10:1 ratio of cloud to Gateway xCache (although not required).

The V20X versions of virtual machine CacheDrives support disk expansion to increase the size of the cache.  Physical CacheDrives do not support disk expansion.

Locations

Your entire organization can be connected with a CacheDrive at each office location. At any point, if you want to bring online another location simply add another CacheDrive thru the Morro Cloud Manager.

Virtual machine CacheDrives can be freely mixed with physical CacheDrives in a single account, so locations with VMWare or Hyper-V hosts can run VMs while other locations can run physical hardware. CacheDrive in Cloud can provide the same functionality while running in AWS or Azure environments.

Users

The Morro G80 is ideal for 50 users per location. If you have more than 50 users simply add another CacheDrive.

Remote users without access to the office LAN can use CacheDrive in Cloud for an all-cloud experience.
