Remote Team Collaboration (RTC) enables multi-site collaboration using supported applications and file types.


RTC for Office supports Microsoft Office documents (docx, xlsx, pptx) by:

  • Preventing two people from editing the same document at the same time.  When a document is already opened by a user, other users will have read-only access to the file.
  • Informing the second user when the file is available for read/write access.  If the user opens the file read-only due to it already being in use by another user, he will be informed when the original file user closes the file.


RTC for Design enables multi-site collaboration with design tools (such as Revit, Autodesk, Microstation, etc) that allows users from different sites to work on the same design, with real-time locking at the design object level.


RTC for Office is included with the Enterprise and Design Collaboration subscription plans.


RTC for Design requires the Design Collaboration subscription.
