Message from Team Administrator
The box shows the message from your Team Administrator regarding the Morro Cloud Storage Solution.
Below is an example of the Team Admin's message to users.
The box shows the Team Name, Team Portal, Team Administrators' Emails and Names, as well as your Primary Group and other Groups that you belong to.
Here listed are all the Gateways (Morro CacheDrives) your Team is equipped with. The detailed info listed are Gateway Names, and the Description below the name of that Gateway, Location Status, and online/offline Status.
In this example below, the Gateway "London" is available for you to access as you are in the same office location. (See here on how to connect your PC or Mac to a Gateway.)
The Gateway "SanFrancisco" however is not shown because the user is not in the same office location.
If you're out of the office, you can still access the Morro Cloud Manager via Team Portal.
The Business Administrator can choose a user preference to make inaccessible gateways visible to users.
In the example, the user does not have access to the CacheDrive "SanFrancisco". With the preference enabled, the user will see the following list under Gateways.
The "green" dot indicate the On-line status on the Gateway. On contrast, if a Gateway is offline (power off or lost of Internet Connection) the the "gray" dot will show up.
On the Dashboard page, all your Shares are listed for you information. The Share are listed with Share Names, Descriptions, and a vertical color bar to differentiate one from the other.
A Folder/Share icon with a "Green" dots indicates that you have full-access permission (Read and Write) while an icon with a "Orange" dot indicates a "Read-only" access permission for you. Inaccessible shares have a red dot.
In this example, the share "Accounting" is Read-only. The other shares "Backup" and "Design" allow full-access with Read and Write permission for this particular user.
In the example, the user does not have access to the shares "Engineering" and "HR", so they appear with a red dot.
