Manage Cloud Storage Groups

Manage Storage Pools


Morro Data supports the following types of storage pools:

  • Storage Pool for Sync
  • Storage Pool for Archive


Select a pool by clicking on the pool badge to open the Storage Pool Detail panel



From this panel, you can edit the storage pool's information.

Storage Pool Information

In Storage Pool defailt panel, edit the Pool Name and the Comment field, select the Version Control policy, choose the prefetch option, or delete the pool.


Name

Give the pool any name you wish. You may want to choose a name that describes the group of files in the pool such as the function of the files or an organizational unit.


Comment (optional)

Optionally, you can create or edit a comment for the pool.


Cloud Storage Group

A Cloud Storage Group consist of a group of storage pools. If there is only one cloud storage group, the value cannot be changed.


Version Control

A Cloud Storage Group consist of a group of storage pools. If there is only one cloud storage group, the value cannot be changed.


Policy
Description
Keep all versions
All versions of the file will be kept.
Keep 30 versions
Keep 10 versions daily, 1 version per day for 10 days, 1 version per week for 10 weeks.
Keep 300 versions
Keep 50 versions daily, 1 version per day for 50 days, 1 version per week for 200 weeks.
Keep no prior version
No historical versions are kept.



By Default, the option is set to "Keep all versions".


Prefetch

The prefetch option enables gateways to be configured to automatically download files added to shares within the pool.



To enable prefetch, slide the selector to the right.

Note: Prefetch may change your monthly bill as data rates charges may apply.



Click SAVE to accept changes.

Delete Pool

To delete a Pool, choose the Pool to be deleted.


Cick DELETE


A pop-up will prompt you to confirm the process. Click DELETE to complete the process.

Note: The DELETE button is greyed out if there is a Share or Shares attached attached to the Pool.
