Manage Cloud Storage Groups

Morro Data has three types of Cloud Storage Groups: 

  • Morro Data Object Storage
  • Your Object Storage
  • Your Cloud File Storage

Depending on your plan, you may have one of the following Cloud Storage Groups in your FILE SYSTEM page


Cloud Storage Group Types
Basic
EssentialsBusiness/Enterprise








Select a cloud storage group by clicking on the cloud storage group badge to open the Cloud Storage Group Detail panel.


Your Cloud File Storage

The storage type Your Cloud File Storage works with Dropbox and OneDrive.

Cloud Storage Group Panel


From this panel, you can edit the cloud storage groups's information.



Cloud Storage Group Information

In the Cloud Storage Group Management panel, you can edit the Name of the cloud storage group.


Name

Give the cloud storage group any name you wish. You may want to choose a name that describes the location of the storage service.


CFS Account (Read-Only)

The account in OneDrive or Dropbox used to create the Cloud Storage Group.


Click SAVE to accept the changes.



Your Object Store 

The storage type Your Cloud File Storage works with Backblaze B2 and Amazon S3.

Cloud Storage Group Panel


From this panel, you can edit the cloud storage groups's information.



Cloud Storage Group Information

In the Cloud Storage Group Management panel, you can edit the Name and Application Key of the cloud storage group.


Name

Give the cloud storage group any name you wish. You may want to choose a name that describes the location of the storage service.


Application Key

The Application Key is used to verify your permission to access the B2 bucket. If a new Application Key is generated, the old Application Keys are no longer valid.


Bucket Name (Read-Only)

The name of the bucket specified when the Cloud Storage Group was created.


Bucket Type (Read-Only)

The permission for downloading files from the bucket specified when the Cloud Storage Group was created.


Account ID (Read-Only)

Account ID of the account of the bucket specified when the Cloud Storage Group was created.


Click SAVE to complete the process.


Amazon S3

From this panel, you can edit the cloud storage groups's information.



Cloud Storage Group Information

In the Cloud Storage Group Management panel, you can edit the Name and Application Key of the cloud storage group.


Name

Give the cloud storage group any name you wish. You may want to choose a name that describes the location of the storage service.


Bucket Name (Read-Only)

The name of the bucket specified when the Cloud Storage Group was created.


Key ID (Read-Only)

Access Key ID of the account of the bucket specified when the Cloud Storage Group was created.


Secret Key

The Secret Access Key is used to verify your permission to access the S3 bucket.


Click SAVE to complete the process.

The storage type Morro Data Object Store is managed by Morro Data

Morro Data Object Storage Option (Read Only)

Displays where the data files are stored. 

If you're using S3 and want to use a different S3 region, create an account with at Amazon S3 and use the storage type Your Object Store. For more information on how to use Amazon S3 in Your Object Store, refer to the article Bring Your Own Storage (BYOS) - Amazon S3.
